Welcome to Pioneer Motel

Owners Aisne(Ain) and Bill Edwards recently took over managing  the motel. They have been in the hospitality industry for over a decade having previously run another motel in Palmerston North and Apartments in the Coromandel. Their aim is to make Pioneer a welcoming and friendly motel where their market of domestic/international travellers, contractors and sports groups feel welcomed and enjoy their stay.

Their aim is to make the motel feel like YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

One of their recent changes has been putting on Sky Guest Select which will give guests 50 plus Sky channels to watch.This provides many guests with something they may be use to at home but it insures the reception on all the large flat screen tv's is great. As well they offer a complimentary real coffee or hot chocolate on check in.This is also offered at a special In house guest rate for the duration of your stay. Meals can be served by arrangement and a range of continental or cooked breakfasts are available. Wireless internet is also available in all rooms.

Pioneer motel is made up of twelve units plus a three bedroom house. There are several one bedroom units suitable for family groups or where separate sleeping areas are required. There are also a mixture of studio 'types' allowing for every budget. All rooms have superking beds and large 32' Flat screens with the 50 plus channels. All units except the house are ground floor with easy parking directly outside your door. The house is a large teams house and can sleep up to 12 'Plus' in individual beds.
